Ecology in Classrooms and Outdoors (ECO)
Ecology in Classrooms and Outdoors (ECO) inspires elementary school students to connect to the natural world through a series of hands-on ecology lessons in students' classrooms, schoolyards and neighborhoods. Students take the knowledge they've gained through these lessons and apply it to the real world through service-learning projects in their communities. These projects give young students the chance to learn through experience, and empower them to be positive agents of change in their social and ecological communities. By connecting young people to nature today, we are creating the environmental stewards of tomorrow.
